Job Summary:

We are seeking self-motivated, eager candidates who are willing to work in a fast-paced medical environment, while providing high-quality patient care.

As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting physician during surgical procedures while providing high-quality patient care. You will be expected to conduct, and present to the physician, quality patient intake data while simultaenously managing multiple patients on a daily basis.

Some duties include:

Assist the physician with surgical procedures

Conduct quality patient interviews and record data on the company's EHR

Set up procedure rooms for surgical procedures, and prepare exam rooms for patient visits

Thoroughly perform all pre and post procedure education with the patient, according to the company's rules, policies and operating standards.

This position requires knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control.

The candidate must have above average math skills and must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) . He / she must be willing to take and follow through on instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
